Kumbara

From "I hate this app" to "I told my friends about it".

Context

Kumbara is a savings app that helps teens split pocket money into goals. Its app store rating was 2.9.

I ran one-on-one interviews and we found the real issue was a complicated goal setup. We reduced it to a single, playful screen.

The rating rose to 4.6 and weekly active users grew by 38%.

I'm most energized by projects where I can dig into complex problems, work with smart people and ship things that genuinely improve someone's day.
